Dear Sue and Family,
Our hearts ache for you and yours. We, like so very many people, will miss Jimmy.
The years may have passed between our times together, but the memories will always remain. I don’t think we will ever think of Jimmy without remembering his smile – he always wore a smile, even at the most difficult of times. Whenever we happened to meet, we could count on one of those (happy to see you) “Giblin” hugs. Ahhh, his memory – is there anything he couldn’t remember? He could talk about 40 years ago in detail – never forgetting a neighborhood “hang-out”, a school, a ball team, a ball park, a playground, the folks who ran it, the people then, the people now, songs, their titles, the artists, etc. etc. etc. We could go on and on, but you know this already.
We know you are surrounded by people who love and adore you, Sue. We pray you find the strength from their love and support and know that over time, your days will brighten.
Jimmy thanks for making our lives happier with your presence. We know you will greet that wonderful son of yours with one of those “Giblin” hugs.
Lovingly,
Jim and Teddi Quinn
(Hey, Sue…. old habits never stop. He will always be Jimmy to us).

Mrs. Giblin & Jodie,
Words can not express how sorry I am for your loss. Mr. Giblin was like another father to me and a grandfather to Michael & Nicholas. He was one of the most interesting people I'd ever met. I will remember the time I spent with him very fondly.

Mrs Giblin and Family; Jim recently shared a story with me that I hope will help you through this difficult time. It was just before Christmas he was having breakfast with you and the topic of shopping came up. He told me about the day he went shopping with his daughter and grandson. He said it was the best day he had. That this was the first time in a long time he would enjoy Christmas. And it was because he saw Christmas through his grandson's eye's. The holiday's finally meant good, not bad.
This conversation showed me what an open, caring man he was. A man that loved his family.
It's difficult for those left behind. We have to hold onto memories.
God bless you through this difficult time.

My husband and I had both the honor and pleasure of working with Jim at Postal Logistics. He was a man among men.
We have never met the Giblin family, but we feel we know you all so well. Jim would beam when he spoke about his wife, daughter, his son,son-in-law and his mother-in-law. I don't need to tell the pride and love he showed when he spoke of Joey.
Jim will be missed very much, but his memory and many stories will stay with his Postal Logistic Family forever.

Mrs. Giblin and Family,
It is with great sadness and shock that we say goodbye to Jim. In our brief association, we came to appreciate Jim's kind nature, his open heart, and his integrity. The memory of Jim is a reminder that the smallest interactions with freinds, colleagues and strangers can change people for the better. Our deepest sympathy to your family, and your circle of support.

I have known Jimmy all of my life , but really got to know who he was this past year. Jim and I worked side by side and he was with out a dought one of, if not the most devoted people in life and work that I have come to know. Jimmy help build our company during some real hard times, with long hours and sharing his knowlege of the transportaion industry. I spent many days listening to him talking with the drivers and his co-workers about his life experiences good and bad. I know that part of him died years ago with the loss of his son Jimmy but he kept on moving forward. Jim is married to a fine women who is also on of my cousins and I know how much he loved and charished everyone in his family. Sue and Jodi I am sure you are very proud of Jim and so are we. There are no words that can explain to you how much we will miss Jimmy. He was a leader and one of the main spokes in our wheel of success. Sue I can not imagin how hard this is on you I can only tell you that My Family and I are here for you..

Hey Mrs. Giblin. Hey Jody. I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Giblin. I can not imagine how hard it is for you both. Mr. Giblin was an awesome dude. Loved all the get togethers he used to let Jimmy have in your back yard during the summer time. Times were alot different then, I wish I could bring them back and take time to really appreciate them. Jimmy has got his dad to keep him in line now. I'm sure he's getting into trouble up there too :) :) Please know that you are both in my prayers always.
Love you both :)

Dear Sue & Jodie,
I was shocked to hear the news about Jim's death. I don't think I've seen him for close to 30 years. We played basketball together in the school playground in Oak Park, and softball for The Pub. He used to work on my car when he was a mechanic at Jimmy R's station. Great guy - we had a lot of laughs together which I will always remember. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Giblin Family
I can't say that I have ever met a man prouder of his family than Jim Giblin. His stories were wonderful and interesting - and he had a way to make you know that your heart tells you if you are in the right place, and your family always comes first. I feel blessed to have crossed his path in my life, and lucky to have been able to be greeted by his face each morning when we worked together. I am sure that he is still sharing his knowledge and wisdom above today. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Sue,
I am extremely sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you, Jodie and Sam. You and Jim were very kind to me and always made me feel welcome. Thank you for letting me be apart of the annual bowling M.A.D.D. to commemurate Jim junior.
Jim always would be the one to welcome anyone off the street, give the shirt off his back...not a trait common today.
May god bless you in this time of sorrow. Sincerely, Rob (Patti's friend).
