Tomorrow is St. Patricks day. It is a joyful time for the Irish! There will be a parade here at 6 p.m. & my Irish wolf hound Holly and I will be marching in your memory. Thank you for making so many lives happy and steering my son on to great things! You are loved and missed.

Uncle Jim - you will be sadly missed. We will always remember the wonderful times that you and Bridget showed us when visiting Chicago. You were a good and kind person and always had a story to entertain and make us laugh. Our thoughts and prayers are with Bridget.
Chicago has lost one of its finest and will not be the same without you. With love always,

The entire O'Byrne clan wish to express our condolences to the Flanagan's.
Jim was an exceptionally kind and charitable man. Literally every story I remember my mother telling about Jim Flanagan related to his good deeds towards others, a true Irishman's Irishman if ever there were one. Ray related a story of Jim (hearing that Ray was looking for a job right out of college) going out of his way to advise Ray and even asking Craig to spend his lunch giving additional guidance. This launched a young man's career in insurance where he still resides 16 years later, now a Vice President. Jim and Bridget unselfishly opened their home and hearts to so many. In our mother's memory we thank Jim for all his extraordinary generosity. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Bridget and Flanagan family
Everyone at the Bank will miss Jim. His Irish charm, huge laugh and love for life was always around him . I will personally miss my travels with Jim in his favorite cadillac to the Prairie St. building, lunches at Linos, Cubs, Bulls and Bear games. No one could tell a story better. His spirit will always remain.
Regards
