James W. Dailey, age 86, of Harwood Heights, died Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at his residence. Beloved son of the late George W. and Gladys M., née Reicherdt, Dailey, he was born July 9, 1937, in Chicago. Veteran, U.S. Navy. Retiree, U.S. Postal Service, Philadelphia, PA, and Ft. Collins, CO. Loving brother of Dorothy Tralmer; dear uncle of Kathy (Ken) Korsch, Kelly (Judy) Tralmer, Kim Kelly, and the late Joseph M. Tralmer. Memorial Gathering for both James and his nephew, Joseph M. Tralmer, who died April 2, 2022, will take place Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 10 a.m. until time of Memorial Service, 11 a.m., at HABEN Funeral Home & Crematory, 8057 Niles Center Rd., Skokie.
