James Cowles Obituary

Dear Jennifer - I was so sorry to hear about Jim. My thoughts are with you and your family. Don sends his condolences, also.

To Susan and the entire Cowles family,

I am shocked and saddened to hear of Jim’s passing. I’ll always cherish my memories of growing up together at Lincoln School. Although we didn’t keep in touch as much as we should have as we grew older, I often thought of him. He was a great guy and I'm sure a great husband and father. I can’t begin to imagine how you all must feel. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time in your life.

The service for Jim was beautiful, and will stay in my memory forever. Will never forget our many Easters, Christmases,and Thankgivings we shared. Jim was always surprising me with his culinary skills. He loved to cook and experiment with new recipes.

I watched Jim grow from a tossled haired little boy to a wonderful father and caring man. He was always a delight to be around.

It hurts deeply that he left us so early, but he will not be forgotten by anyone that knew him.

Bev & I will be praying for you, and for all of Cousin Jimmy's family, loved ones & friends, throughout Sunday's Visitation and Services, for God's strength, comfort, & compassion at the most difficult time in the world.



We hope that even in the midst of your tragic grief, that you will give each other permission to laugh together as warm memories & stories are shared about the celebration of life & loved ones that Cousin Jimmy brought to so many! I think that's the way he would want it, now & forever more.
