James Collopy Obituary

Collopy, James Raymond Age 88, beloved husband for 58 years of the late Alice Collopy (nee Dahlberg), passed away peacefully with family by his side on May 5, 2013. Jim was a professional truck driver for many years at the A&P Tea Company. An artist, gymnast, ice skater, stilt maker, accomplished backyard 500 player, and WWll vet, Jim's wit and wisdom will be greatly missed. Loving father of Christina (Bruce) Mackie, Patricia Cavanaugh, Robert Collopy, Mary Collopy, and the late Kathleen Collopy and James Collopy; Dear grandfather of Bridget Vloedman, James Cavanaugh, Heather (Mark) Buethe, Travis Mackie, Karyn Mackie, and Robyn (Wes) Kuhn; Proud great-grandfather of Aidan Vloedman, Addison Buethe, and Benjamin Buethe; Dear brother of the late Florence (James) Sheehan, John Collopy, and Bernard Collopy. Private interment at Beverly Cemetery.
