James Brandt Obituary

Brandt, James "J.C." Age 28, of Hinsdale, passed away January 18, 2018. J.C. was loved by family and friends for his "heart of gold". His loyalty, devotion and love for all that knew him, were beyond words. An avid sports enthusiast, J.C. had a command of all sports stats, especially with a love for football and hockey, which started at a very early age. J.C. attended Saint Isaac Jogues and Hinsdale Central, moving on to the University of Arizona before transferring to the University of Iowa. J.C. is remembered by his peers as a loyal friend, always there with a helping hand, an open ear or a joke to make them smile. J.C. always loved to be surrounded by the company of his family and friends, he enjoyed the company of his sister Mackenzie, who he had much admiration for throughout his life. J.C.'s proudest moment in life was when his daughter Daisy was born. Daisy will always know the great love her father had for her, and she will forever have a beautiful Guardian Angel watching over her. Loving father of Daisy Alyson Brandt; cherished son of James R. and Ann E. Brandt, (nee Dietz); dear brother of Mackenzie A. Brandt; fond nephew of William (Patrice) Brandt, John A. (the late Debbie) Brandt, Michael J. (Diane) Brandt, James B. (Vicki) Dietz, John E. JC was a sweet, kind and curious little boy. We enjoyed watching him grow into a fine young man who always greeted us with joy and enthusiasm. We will never forget him and will never forget the kind heart he possessed.

Send out your light and your truth.
May these themselves lead me.
May they bring to your mountain and to your grand tabernacle.
Psalm 43:3

May the family fine comfort in god during this difficult time.
