James Bercich Obituary
James J. Bercich, age 88, a resident of Carillon in Plainfield and formerly of Bridgeview, IL, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2022. He was born on March 14, 1934 in Chicago. James is survived by his devoted wife of 66 years, Dorothy (nee Pocius); his loving children, Judy Ann (Roland) Lepik, Joyce (John) Mueller, and James Bercich; his cherished grandson, John (Shayna) Mueller, Jr. and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Noah Mueller; his dear siblings, Robert Bercich and Dorothy Rekar. Family and friends will gather for the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, August 2, 10:30 AM at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville. Overman-Jones Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Plainfield, was entrusted with arrangements.
