Basile, James "Duke" age 72. Lifelong Southside resident born in Roseland. U.S. Marine Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Purple Heart Recipient. Father of Lt. James (Paula) Basile, CFD, devoted "Gramdpa" of Anthony Basile, brother of Gail Wilson, Norman Basile, Patsy, George, David, and Thomas Basile, son of the late Catherine (nee Markoff) and Frank Basile, former husband and dear friend of Rose Drever, stepfather of Mark and Grace Gleeson and Kelly Lange. Memorial visitation Monday, February 4, from 3:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Services 7:30 p.m. at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St. (US Rt. 30, 3 Blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights. Burial private. 708-481-9230.
