Hill, Jake J. Proprietor of Progressive Funeral Parlor. Well known and respected in his community and among his peers. For over 37 years, he served families with dignity and honesty. Beloved father to two daughters, Veronica and Denise (Wayne); two sons, Jeffery and Anthony, beloved brother of Inez (Nathaniel) McGee of Flint, Michigan, grandfather of Amari Kearney, a host of other nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday, January 25, 2002, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Progressive Funeral Parlor, 7208 S. Stony Island.
