Jacky was known as "Sister" to her family, parents Jack and Ida, brothers Dick and Perry. We would gather at the Cornell Towers in Hyde Park after services at Rodfei Zedek. Jack was a President at Idlewild Country Club and expert on business matters in the family until the great schism. Jacky went her own way and it was a loss to all of us cousins, the Goldberg cousins, who thought the past had been wrenched apart. And so in this obituary to Jacky, it was. Sadly for all the family, but families are often a mixture of the greatest blessings and hurts. Jack Goldberg's family was never the same. A family of salesmen, as my father Fred Goldberg would say "A great salesman has a touch of larceny in his heart." There was more than a touch here, and after all these years, I would think Jacky lost the most. I remember her as the best of her family, by far. May she rest in eternal peace.
