I heard last night of your mom's death. I'm so saddened to hear that. She was a wonderful, kindhearted woman. I never saw anything rattle her or get her really angry. She was so "go with the flow" that she could calm anyone. Maybe that strength was what made her a great wife and mother of firemen, or maybe it was BECAUSE she was a wife and mother of firemen. Regardless, I extend my condolences to your family and thank you for sharing her with us. We were all better off because of it.

So very sorry for the loss of your beloved Jackie. The last time I saw her was at my cousin's (her husband) Bobby's wake, where she had to console the fireman who came in sobbing. She stood like a rock. I always thought of her as a perfect wife and mother and I always will. She will surely be missed.

We pray that God's peace will be with all of you as you greive your loss. Know that Jackie is enjoying the outcome of her faith with Bob and all the saints in heaven. May that sure and certain hope of the resurrection and reunion of all the faithful comfort you in your grief and sustain you in your faith until we are all together again. Pastor Jim and Terry Ritter

Murphy Family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your mother/sister/grandma. I have so many fond memories of your mom from our days together at First National Bank of Evergreen Park. She had a heart of gold. I lost my own mom 2 years ago, so I understand your pain and loss. Know that my prayers are with you.
