Jacqueline DeSantis Obituary
Jacqueline M DeSantis nee Wahlen age 83 of Tinley park, IL. Passed away peacefully at home on September 28th, 2024 with her daughter by her side. Jacqueline was the beloved wife of the late Ronald J. DeSantis, loving mother of Christopher and Nannette (Bryan) Sumner, dedicated loving grandmother of Megan (Steven) Sumner-Rachan and Adam Sumner, loving great grandmother to Lydia Rachan and Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Jacqueline was born in Chicago IL the daughter of the late Englebert and Marie Wahlen nee Wirtz on April 4, 1941. She was a devout catholic and passionate about her pinochle card games. She was a fun loving mother and blessed with many talents, but will be remembered most for the love and generosity to her family and friends. She loved her wildlife and pets, especially her beloved devoted loving yorke name Winston. She will be missed by all who knew her especially for her steadfast loyalty to her family. She will remain in our hearts forever.
Memorial visitation will be held at McKenzie Funeral Home in Oak Forest on October 23rd at 9:30-11:30 am, with a Catholic mass at St. Damian church at 5250 155th st in Oak Forest at 11:45. Memorials can be made to the family's wishes.
