Marilyn, Tony and Brian...Just want you to know that I am thinking and praying for all of you today as we remember Jake today. I always enjoyed visiting with him at family get togethers. He would always try to get me to speak Spanish with him since I studied it in college. When I think of Jake I see him always laughing. He was a fun person to be around. He is missed by many. We carry his memory in our hearts. God bless.

I am so sorry to hear about Jake. Although it has been a long long time since I worked with him at Bert Weinman Ford I will never forget his smiling face. Please accept my deepest sympathy .

Marilyn, Tony and Brian,
We are saddened by your loss. Reflect on the times your all had with Jake. I (Dick) certainly have. He was a good, decent man who loved his family and cared for his friends. He would always be there to help when asked. The world was a better place with Hacobo as a part of it.

Jake, we have been not only brothers-in-law but the best of friends for over thirty years. We had many great times together. I will truly miss you.

Jake was not only my brother-in-law,he was one of my dearest friends. We shared alot over the years. We laughed, we cried, we had many, many great times. I am so thankful, just a few weeks ago,I drove up to Chicago for my Uncle Buds memorial mass. Jake and I spoke in depth at the luncheon, and he insisted I come to his house afterwards.I decided to and even decided to spend the night. Jake, Marilyn, Brian and I went out to dinner and spent alot of time talking about so many things. Afterwards we went back to their house and looked at their pictures and the pictures I brought with and had a lot of fun. Jake even spoke to my husband Jr on the phone and said how this summer he wants to come and visit us for a few days. Little did I know that day would be the last time I would ever see him. I thank God I decided to go to their house that day, for if I hadn't I would have regreted it the rest of my life.I learned a valuable lesson in that life is a fleeting moment that is here one day and gone the next, do not put off things until another day, for that day may never come. Jake,I have loved and respected you for over 30 years and will continue too until the day we meet again.
