Nash and Chris, of Troutville; one sister, Barbara Brown and Peyton, of Charlottesville; two aunts, Hope Proffit, of Arrington, and Hazel Woodson, of Troy; two granddaughters, Egan and Cate Nash, of Troutville; one grand-godson, Shrader Tomlin, of Lynchburg; six nieces and nephews, Tina Leiter and Allen, of Keswick, Mark Bond and Susan, of Charlottesville, Donnie Jr. and Bobbie Mawyer, of Lynchburg, Meredith Mawyer, of Faber, and Brittany Graves, of Amherst; numerous other loving cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Emile Markle Bond Jr., and one niece, Virginia Mae Bond Marrs.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, 2010, at Bethlehem United Methodist Church by the Revs. Raymond Rowling and C. Randall Harlow, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Jan. 20, 2010, at Byrum-Parr Funeral Home.
