Jack Stewart Obituary

Stewart, Jack A. 80, passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2002, in Eau Claire, WI. He was born March 20, 1922, in Oak Park, IL to Charles and Anna Stewart. He married Grace A. Larson in Sturgeon Bay, Wis. on April 5, 1947, and resided in Chicago until 1952, when they relocated to Eau Claire, Wis. He worked as a Purchasing Manager for Sterling Pulp and Paper Company in Eau Claire for 35 years, retiring in 1989. He belonged to the Chippewa Valley Traffic Club and was a WWII veteran, having served in Europe. He was an avid golfer with a keen sense of humor. He is survived by his children, Nancy (Mike) Abel of Cedar Rapids, IA, Debra (Michael) Daniel of Chicago, IL, Mark (Julie) Stewart of Altoona, WI and Sandra Stewart of Douglas, WY; grandchildren, Jeff and Marc Abel, Mike Lee and David Stewart; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Justin, Logan and Jenna Grace Abel; brother, Theodore and sisters, Marilyn Stewart and Marjorie Killman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Stewart and brother, Charles. Interment will be held at a later date in Hainesville Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay, WI.
