Jack W. Ivy, Sr, age 55, passed away Thursday morning, February 15, 2007, at his home in Cole Turkey Acres Development near Warsaw, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Diana, of the home, his oldest son, W01 Jack W. Ivy, Jr. and his wife, Tyra, of Ft. Wainwright, Alaska, two daughters, Pam York, of Warsaw, and Tammy Armstrong, of Lincoln, Missouri, and a younger son, Jason, Ivy, of Kearney, Missouri. Jack was the grandfather of seven grandchildren, Kayla Crist, Joey York, Curtis, L. J. and Mikey Ivy, Zachariah and C. J. Armstrong. He is also, survived by his mother, Velva Ivy, of Kearney, Missouri, sisters, Carol King, of Holt, Missouri, and Linda Johnson, of Cameron, Missouri, one brother, Ray Ivy, Jr. of Kirksville, Missouri, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Dick Ivy, and sisters, Dixie Sherburn and Robbie Ivy.

He had worked for the Burlington Northern Railroad for twenty-five years before he retired. He enjoyed hunting trips to Colorado, fishing and boating.


Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday morning, February 17, 2007, at the First Baptist Church in Holt, Missouri. Burial will be in the Antioch Cemetery near Holt. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Friday evening at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jack Ivy Memorial Fun
