Jack L. Hogan, age 60 passed away suddenly on Saturday December 1st. A loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather, he will be missed by all. Jack was a long time resident of Ben Lomond and was known for his dedication to the happiness and security of his family and friends alike. Jack enjoyed a variety of activities ranging from camping and skiing, to a quiet night at home spent with his family. A respected boss and employee alike, his commitment to every task and every job offered him a complete sense of fulfillment. His most recent endeavor, a manager at Chili's in Capitola is where he felt needed and appreciated for all his efforts. Jack is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sandy; his mother, Wanda; his brother, Art, his sister June; four children, Todd, Danielle, Kelly, Kevin and one grandchild, Riley Jack.
A Celebration of His Life will be held at Jack's residence, 220 Arnold Avenue in Ben Lomond on Saturday, December 8th at 1:00 pm and will continue throughout the day. Please drop by anytime with your stories and memories of Jack.

It's probably obvious to say that I was shocked when I heard about Jack. I'd only *really* gotten to know him a little bit in more recent times, but am deeply sorrowed by the fact that I'll never be able to get to know him better, except through the stories and shared memories of others. The few moments I had with him, however, were always cheerful and jovial at the very least. What hurts me so greatly is to see Kelly, Kevin, and the rest of the Hogan family experiencing one of the most unbelievable and devastating moments of each of their lives. You know that I love all of you and think of you all day, every day. And you know that I am always here to help you with ANYthing you want or need, no matter how big or small. Kelly, I love you with all of my heart. Kevin, you're still one of my best friends after all of these years and you always will be. Sandy, Wanda, and Danielle, I'm so happy to have gotten to know each of you better and look forward to creating new memories with you all in the times ahead. And of course I really look forward to meeting Todd too. ;-) I already see a lot of Jack in Riley, and love the little bugger to pieces. Jack will surely be missed by all, including myself. I will see you all very soon.

Hello all, I was sad to see that Jack had pasted away. I worked with Jack, at the cable company. He was always so cheerful and helpful. I remember after the office closed, I was dining at Maria Calendars where he was managing: He treated my family and myself like family, he welcomed us, as if into his own home.
What a loss for you and your family. My prayers are with you at this time.
