Cortese, Jack F. beloved husband of Maria "Rosa" (nee Tavano), dear father of Carmen (Judy) and Frank, grandfather of Danny, fond brother of Joseph (Dorothy) and the late Anthony, the late Fred (LaVerne) and the late Mary (Frank) Fratto, loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Thursday, 9:15 a.m., from The Dalcamo Funeral Home, 470 W. 26th St., to Santa Lucia Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven. Visitation Wednesday, 2 to 9 p.m. 312-842-8681

I just wanted to say I loved my grandfather and I will miss him so much. And sweetie-Bella {the dog} will miss him to because he always fed her meatballs. I will never forget the magic trick that he taught me.
