I never knew or met Mr. Besser but he certainly was a big part of my life. I have been buying and building those great Monogram models since the 60's and still do. My deepest sympathy to the Besser family.

To the Besser Family,
As a child some of my happiest days were spent building Monogram models. Some of my proudest moments were displaying the finished product. Mr. Besser's products brought me joy, learning and a sense of accomplishment. God bless him.

Thank you all for your outpouring of support. We loved my grandfather SO much and he was an inspiration to us all. In his life, Jack was a smart and charismatic man, always full of energy and excitement. He was the most kind and generous person I know. Most important to him was his family - and he truly considered everyone in the world of Monogram his family. Within one man lived the American dream and that dream lives on with every kit you build today. Rest in peace grandpa- we will never forget you.

Dear Aunt Myrtle,
I am thinking of you and I am so sorry for your loss. I have vivid and happy memories of my great Uncle Jack. His special long typed letters to me will always be cherished. The Mattel toys he sent for the holidays were always the best!

I did not know Mr. Besser. But, as a kid in the 1950s, Monogram and Revell models were a part of my growing up. I learned a great deal from them and was always impressed with the quality of the product. Thank you to Mr. Besser, and my condolences to the Besser family.

Jack will be remembered for his kindness and the concern he expressed for the welfare of my family over many years. My mother worked at Monogram Models for many years (my brother and I spent several summers there as well). Jack and Mytle became good family friends and were very supportive during my mother's long illness and comforting upon her death. Jack's spirit and enthusiasm will be greatly missed.

Deepest sympathy on your loss. I have only the fondest memories of my parents'(Norm and Minnie Page) friendship with Jack and Myrtle and the summer I spent working at the Monogram Models factory when they moved to Morton Grove.
