My most heart-felt condolences to Dan's family and partner.
Dan was one of my best friends at Blackburn College and just thinking of him makes me smile since we were always up to some hijinks.
A big regret is that we did not keep in touch. I had just thought recently that I would try to touch base with him to make plans for our 50th reunion.
I would love news of his life if anyone would get in touch with me. Judi Windsor Cervenka [email protected]

My condolences to Dan's family. I have fond memories of Dan. Even though our meetings were at extended family weddings and funerals Dan's wonderful quick wit and eloquence brought us quickly up to date. My fondest memory is a discussion Dan and I had many years ago. I was maybe a senior in high school and had just gone to the Art Institute. I mentioned to Dan that I really did not see the point in the display of a huge black painting; as a matter of fact I found it amusing that so many people were standing around admiring and talking about this painting. Dan put his humor aside and explained that the painting was in fact many shades of black and that if you looked up close, it was almost pointalistic. He taught me something I still think about today: things are not always what they seem and upon close examination have many levels to make the whole and that is good. I always enjoyed our meetings and I extend my condolences to his family. He will be missed. He is up there with all the Radecki's who have passed and belive me I bet that there is one great roasted chicken barbeque and party going on to welcome him. He leaves us with fond memories.

Dan, I always remember the time you came to visit me and give me direction and hope. After high school I was in a dead end job, you took me out to lunch to tell me there were better things for me and I should go on to college.
Thanks for taking the time to encourage me.

I didn't get to know you very well, but you were always around at large Radecki functions and always made me smile. Most of all, I will always remember the eulogy you gave my Grandfather, George. You will be missed by many.
