Henderson-Pedro, Isabel G. Born June 3, 1929, died November 5, 2006. Beloved wife of Dr. Donald M. Pedro (Morgan Park), daughter of Frances Porter Graham and Charles Graham (Logan Square). Former special education teacher at Beethoven Elementary School. Graduate of Avondale Grammar School-1943, graduate of Carl Schurz High School-1947, attended Woodrow Wilson Jr. College, graduate of Roosevelt University-1966 (Bachelor of Arts), graduate of Chicago State University-1977 (Master of Science in Special Education). Mother of three: Natalie F. Ray, Victoria H. Peters and Michelle L. Henderson-Allison, (Charles H. Allison, Jr.), grandmother of five, great-grandmother of seven, step-mother of 12. First Lady of the Midwest Bridge Unit of the American Bridge Association. Member of the Paragons Duplicate Bridge Club, The LaBelles Femme Bridge Club, the Maple Park Bridge Club and the Ada Park Bridge Club. Member of Quinn Chapel A.ME., St. Edmunds Church, Church of the Holy Cross, Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Salem Baptist Church (Founding member) and Beth Eden Baptist Church. Memorial Service Saturday, November 11, 11 a.m., Gatling's Chapel, 10133 S. Halsted St., Chicago. Celebration of Life Saturday, November 11th, 1 p.m., at Midwest Bridge Unit of the American Bridge Association, 1420 E. 87th Street, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, donations made be sent to the National Cancer Society or National Wildlife Association in her name.
