Irwin Levinson Obituary

Levinson, Irwin R. Age 83, of Evanston, passed away on July 17, 2014. Beloved husband of Sylvia (nee Lipschutz) for 62 years; devoted father of Matthew (Eileen Dugan) Levinson, Paula Stafford, Allen (Margaret Wade) Levinson, and Jennifer Levinson; cherished grandfather of Brook Stafford, Laura Dugan-Levinson, Thomas Dugan-Levinson, Nina Levinson, and Briana King. He pursued a career in chemistry, but politics in the interest of peace and social justice was his true passion, and so was actively involved in a wide variety of organizations and causes spanning 6 decades. His passion for action, his love of life, family, and friends was an inspiration to all who knew him. Private funeral. Memorial will be held at a future date TBA.
