Irwin Gleisner Obituary

Gleisner, Irwin "Irv " age 92, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on September 30, 2008. His wife of 65 years, Dorothy preceeded him just 7 short months ago. Irwin is lovingly survived by is daughters, Linda and Diane (Larry), son Robert (Leanne), granddaughter, Jenny. In-Laws Carol, Richard, Delores, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved poodle, Coco. U.S Navy Veteran WWII, Proud Member of Iron Workers Union Local 63, Avid Fisherman, and Enthusiastic Joke Teller. Irv was an inspiration to all - loving and well loved, he will be in the hearts of many. In lieu of flowers, Irv would like you to treat yourself to a dessert and think of him. Visitation Sunday, October 5, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., with Funeral services Monday, October 6th, 11 a.m., at Tohle Funeral Home, 4325 W. Lawrence Ave., at Lowell. Interment Montrose Cemetery.
