Carol, What a Blessing when you and Irv,moved into your house in the Mid 1980's, on Bradley Ct in Hanover Park. We Homeowners were rebuilding the Board membership and Carol joined as Secretary and Irv as Building and Grounds Supervisor. From that point on we had a very efficient Board which benefitted our Association greatly.
Irv followed his political aspirations and was voted into various positions on the Hanover Park Board, ending in being elected Mayor of Hanover Park by the people who had come to Respect him
Irv worked hard and diligently for the Better Good of the people wherever he served. He was congenial and caring.Carol was his Loving and Helpful Wife and Partner.
Betty and I loved this trustworthy man and will miss him Greatly.

Deepest sympathies to Carol and the Bock family from the Holsings from both here and in Pennsylvania. We didn't see you often, but over the years when we did, we always enjoyed exchanging family stories, lots of laughs, and Irv was always the most gracious host. He was sincere, and always had a smile for everyone and fit right in to our crazy side of the family. He will be truly missed. God's Blessings to all of you.

Irwin was my cousin. I had planned to contact him soon since we've lost touch through the years. I am so sad that I didn't act sooner so I could have had a chance to exchange life stories. Just the other day looking through some old photos I saw his with my brother and sister in front of our grandparents house in Chicago.
My sympathy to his family.

Dear Bock Family,
I would like to pass on our deepest sympathy to you and your family. I were saddened to hear about Irv. I was personally lucky to have known him. I met Irv and Carol when I was their server at Shell's Seafood. (Irv's favorite server!) I have stayed in touch and recently met with him to get the village and the Hanover Park Little League together. He was very helpful and he will be sadly missed. He was a sincere and honest man. May he rest in peace.
