Spector, Irving age 87, of Lake Worth, FL, formerly of Glencoe; beloved husband for 50 years of the late Lillian nee Perlman; loving father of Marsha Spector and Lee (Debbie) Spector; adored "Grandpa Irv" of A.J. and Zoe Spector; dear brother of Dorothy (Edward) Shapiro and Frances (late Irving) Mellman; devoted companion of Rhoda Knazick; treasured uncle and friend of many. Graveside service Friday, 3 pm at Westlawn Cemetery, 7801 W. Montrose, Norridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Cancer Society, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Suite 1200, Chicago, IL, 60601. Irv was a caring man who brought happiness and love to all those he encountered. He will be sorely missed by us all. Our hearts go out to the Spector family on your loss.

It was a pleasure to know and spend time with Irv. He always had a smile and a kind word. We will miss him, and the b & b table at breakfast at the Fountains will not be the same without him.

Dear Mar, Lee, Dorm and all of the Spector family - I was saddened to learn that Irv lost his battle against an enemy so very much stronger than he. But I am sure he left with dignity and with strength.
I will always remember him with admiration and affection. Those golden days at the Imperial Inn and all those incredible meals at the Royal Hearth - days of sun and fun and good company.
He was one of a kind, Mar and Lee. As well you know. Mar, please know that my heart will be with you tomorrow -
