Irving Kahn Obituary

Kahn, Irving 85, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on Friday, the 13th of September, 2002. He was born in Chicago and resided there for many years before moving to Scottsdale, Arizona. "Uncle Irv" will always be remembered by his family and many friends as the quintessential archetype of a colorful Damon Runyon character. He was endowed with an indomitable strength, spirit and zest for life that could be matched by none. His one-of-a-kind lifestyle, generosity, compassion for others, incredible wit and humor enriched all whose lives he touched. He is loved and will be deeply missed by his surviving sons Jack, Howard, Robert, daughter Pamela, four grandchildren, Alissa, Brian, Emily and Natalie and his beloved "Kitty Kat." Services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m. at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights, IL Donations can kindly be made in the name of Irving Kahn to the American Cancer Society, 77 E.
