Dear Chris and Family: How terribly saddened I am about your dearest Irene. My hope for all of you is that as these sorrowful days pass, her wonderful memories will warm your souls and your hearts and her kind spirit will fill you with peace. To Chris and his family, to Julie and her family, and Elaine and her family, to all the other family members I did not meet...

I was gifted with a beutiful patient that I came to love so dearly, I was honoured to have met many in Irene's family, but none more than Julie.

My prayers, at this time, are for all of you as you start the healing process. Treasure your memories and know, at last, Irene is at peace with her God.

I can only express in writing (type) that I have fond memories of all my relatives over there (in Ill.), and I feel grateful to have met most of 'you all', and that I remember Irene as a very friendly cousin and loving person, and am sorry to here of her passing away so abruptly.

Dear Chris and Family: Both Betty and I express our deepest sympathy to you on the lose of your wife, mother and friend. Those of us that have faith believe that she is and will always be in a better place.

I have many fond memories of her, from my first trip to Chicago to visit with the cousins to my last visit for Leah's wedding when Irene, Elaine and Aunt Bertha had Vanessa and me laughing all the way to the reception. We can't say what we truly feel, because we don't know how. We do want you to know that we love all of you and hurt for you. Irene, (your Wife & Mother) was such a special lady. We will always remember her smile and laugh. She was so proud of all of you and your children. We love you.

So very sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. Knowing what wonderful sons your Mom raised, I know she was a proud, loving Mom. Also, Maria, I extend my condolences to you, too as I am sure you will miss your mother-in-law.

How blessed you are to have had Irene be a part of your lives. She was truly the greatest example of wife, mother to all her sons and daughter-in-laws, and grandmother to those she loved with all her heart. May the Lord comfort you with all the wonderful memories and knowing that she is now at peace forever.
