My condolences to Irene's family. I have known Irene for almost 30 years beginning when I became her and her husband, Bob's next door neighbor on the third floor of our condo building in Oak Park. Over the years Irene became a very special friend and we shared so many things from plates of food passed across the back stair landing to special ocassions and events in each other's lives. We shared a love of music and she often attended concerts of the Chicago Swedish Glee Club of which I am a member. We served together, for several years, on the condo association board on which she was a tremendous asset. Irene was a special person and a special friend and I will remember her and miss her for the rest of my life.

Bob, My condolences to you and your family. I have known Irene over 30 years and she will surely be missed not only as a friend but as a partner as we worked on Phi Chi Theta projects. Know that your mother was one of a kind and will surely be missed. My prayers are with you at this time.

I would like to send my condolences and sympathies to the family of Irene Meyer. I'm apart of the PCT family in the Eastern Region and currently the Regional Director for the orgnaization. Even though I never met Irene I have heard great stories from my fellow sisters and brothers at the last National Conference.

Irene, how I will miss you! Without you and Naomi there would not be a Phi Chi Theta Fraternity today. We owe you so much for the sacrifices you made to keep us going. You were my mentor and my cherished friend. I have no doubt that you, Jackie, Naomi, and Ordry have Heaven well organized and running smoothly and having lots of fun at the same time. I love you all.
