Irene Kozlowski Obituary

Irene (Raducha) Kozlowski, 86, of Plainville, passed away Wednesday May 13, 2015 at Apple Rehab of Farmington Valley in Plainville. She was the wife of the late Rudolph Kozlowski. Irene and Rudolph were married in 1951. Mrs. Kozlowski was born April 17, 1929 in New Britain, the daughter of the late Stephen and Sophie (Kata) Raducha and was a longtime Plainville resident. She was a graduate of New Britain High School and following graduation attended administrative school. Mrs. Kozlowski retired from the accounts payable department at Stanley Works with over 18 years of service. She was a supportive and generous person, as well as a total sports mom always willing to transport her sons and their friends to various sporting events. Mrs. Kozlowski was also an avid fan of the UCONN Women's Basketball. Mrs. Kozlowski leaves her sons, Stephen Kozlowski of Plainville and Mark Kozlowski of Wyoming, her grandson, Micheal and Mathew Kozlowski and many nieces and nephews. Beside her husband Rudolph she was predeceased by her brothers, Walter, Edward, Chappy, Hank and Snappy. Funeral services for Mrs. Kozlowski will be celebrated privately.
