Ingrid Turner Obituary

Turner, Ingrid Passed away peacefully on March 4, 2018 in Olympia, Washington, after a long illness. She was born May 4, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to Frithiof Frykholm and Mary Danci Frykholm. A hard-working single mother, she was also an exceptional homemaker for her three children, Christopher Turner, Melissa Wideman, and Joseph Turner. Her life was a celebration of Jesus Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was a sympathetic listener who loved to share her thoughts and feelings with others, and had amazing inner strength and character. Her encouragement of reading and intellectual curiosity ultimately inspired all three of her children to excel in higher education and obtain advanced degrees. She is survived by her three children and their spouses, Neesha Oliver, Shyloh Wideman, and Cynthia Pardo; her grandson, Finnian Oliver Turner, and her brother, Tony Frykholm. A celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4 at Harbor House in Olympia, Washington.
