Torf, Hymen Mr. Torf was a World War Two Veteran, a Mason, a retired steel worker and an avid fisherman and hunter. He is survived by his brother Alex and many nieces and nephews and their children and was proceeded in death by his siblings Harry, Ida, Jennie, Rubin, Abraham and Irving. Services Thursday, 2 p.m. at Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (one block north of Lake Cook Road), Buffalo Grove. Interment Shalom Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his memory to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 406 W. 34th Street, Kansas City, Missouri, 64111.
