My deapest sympathy to the Wehmeier Family. I'm sure everyone has a wonderful story about such an admired man and I would like to share mine. In 1985, as a repeat customer of Community Pontiac, Mr. Wehmeier went above and beyond the call of duty when I had a problem with my new car. He had somehow heard about a continuing problem I was having with my car. He personally called me and then came to my home, stating that he knew about my problem as well as the fact that I had two small children and that he wanted to personally take care the situation. At that point, he handed me the keys to his car and drove my car back to the dealership. He assured me that I could have unlimited use of his car until he made sure that my car was taken care of. In less than a week, my car was perfect, thanks to Mr. Wehmeier. It is now over 20 years later and after moving from Oak Forest in 2006, to Arizona, I still remember his kindness and generosity. Usually you only get that kind of gesture if you are a family member of a car dealer. However, Mr. Wehmeier made everyone feel like family. He truly was a great man who will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My condolrnces to the Wehmeier family. My father, Lloyd Drew, was a salesman for Community Motors from 1954 to 1961. I will always remember how kind Mr. Wehmeier was from the food baskets at Thanksgiving to the time when my dad got sick and Mr. Wehmeier kept him on. May God find a special place for him in heaven. I am sorry I cound not attend the Services.
