Hermanek, Hubert E. Age 84, decorated U.S. Marine Veteran, a fifty year resident of Riverside and a practicing attorney for sixty-two years. Beloved husband and best friend for 58 years to Betty Jo (nee St. Charles); dear dad of Marybeth (Richard) Vavrik and Village of North Riverside Mayor Hubert E. (Ana) Hermanek, Jr.; fond brother of the late Thomas (Frances) Hermanek; loving grandfather to Paula and Keith Hermanek, Dawn (Russell) Palmer and Jason (Abbey) Vavrik; great-grandfather to Ella Grace Palmer and Camden James Richard Vavrik. Mr. Hermanek was a proud graduate of the University of Chicago Law School, an active member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and a retired Captain of the Riverside Police Auxiliary Corps with over thirty years of dedicated service. Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home 10501 W. Cermak Road (2 blks. W. of Mannheim Road) Westchester on Friday, July 5, 2013 from 3 to 9pm.
