Howard Williams Obituary

SALTVILLE – Howard Douglas Williams, age 73, passed away Dec. 3, 2006, at his home.
Mr. Williams was a World War II veteran and an active VFW member as long as he was able.
Survivors: one daughter, Helen Marie Scherbing, Kentucky; one brother, William Williams, New Jersey; one sister-in-law, Lori Williams, Honaker; three special friends, Freda and Bill Griffey and Mack Davidson; two grandsons, D. Williams and Ivo C. Scherbing Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, in the Williams family cemetery, with the Rev. Shirley Carter officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Saltville VFW Post 7328.
The D.R. Henderson Funeral Home is serving the Williams family.
