Grant, Howard Charles 87, of Park Ridge, passed away at his residence February 19, 2010. U.S. Army veteran WWII. Beloved husband of Beverly, loving father of Rohn (Elle) Grant and Claude (Karen) Grant and the late Marc Grant, proud grandfather of Neill, Dana, Natalie, Sidney, Joshua, Philip, Emily Grant, Marc Grant Jr. and Melissa Hensch, great-grandfather of Jackson Grant. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, February 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Hwy., Chicago. Howard was one of the first factory reps that I met when I started in the furniture business at Barker Furniture, East Chicago, Ind in 1954. Howard was a gentlemen's gentleman and always was a friend. I will always remember him.
