My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Cohen family. It has been well over 22 years since I last saw Mr. Cohen, but I will never forget his gentle demeanor, his patience and kindness.

I just want to tell you that there are very few people with the class and character Howard demonstrated.
His kindness and attention will always be remembered.
I will miss him and value his frienship always.

and note that his memory wil always be a blessing to those who had the pleasure and fortune to know him.

Dear Cohen Family,
Hal and I want to express our most sincere condolences on Howard's death. How can we express feelings of over 50 years, at least 35 of which were like a marriage at Charter House? Howard was like a brother, a friend and at times a parent to us. I (Felicia) especially remember the thoughtful retirement party Howard and Bette planned for Hal. Howard didn't want a retirement party! He worked till the last minute possible! What can we say about such a caring, considerate many that hasn't already been said? We hope you gain strength from all the wonderful memories, trips, etc. you have shared over the years. At least now he no longer has any physical pain. Unfortunately we couldn't join you today to pay our final respects. Hal's surgery to replace his DBS batteries today is a success. We love you.
