Horace Brooks Obituary

Brooks, Horace Age 82, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at his home in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the Illinois National Guard at the age of 17 and retired as a Major. While in the National Guard, he worked 32 years for the Chicago Transit Authority and retired as a Garage Superintendent II. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Marie Brooks; two daughters, Mary Ellen Young (Theodore) of Chicago, IL, Christine Arinzia Brooks of Aurora, CO; two grandchildren, Va'Shawn Timothy Brooks of Chicago, IL., Norell Korina Brooks, Aurora, CO; and all loving family members and friends.
