Hildegard Mende Obituary

Mende, Hildegard (nee Reitze) Age 94, passed away peacefully at home in the company of her family. She was the beloved wife for 44 years of the late Karl; loving mother of Albert, Heinz (Debbie), Carl (Margarita) and the late Linda; dear Oma to Joseph, Melissa, Jennifer (Brian), Peter and Lisa; fond Tante and dear friend to many. Visitation on Thursday 4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Hollerbach Funeral Home, 4022-36 N. Elston Ave at Irving Park Rd. Funeral on Friday 9:45 a.m. to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, Masses or Memorials to your favorite charity appreciated. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I have always enjoyed remembering the times I got to spend with Mrs. Mende at the different German events. She was so much fun to talk to and she was always very kind to me and my family. She will always be in our fondest memories.
