Hester Cuculic Obituary

Services for Hester Cuculic, 95, of Spring, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Glenn Morton officiating. Interment will follow in the Blue Springs Cemetery in Etoile.
Mrs. Cuculic was born March 7, 1918 in Etoile, Texas, the daughter of the late Mary Alice (Morton) and Robert Taylor Partin. She passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in a Houston hospital.
Mrs. Cuculic was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She lived in Lufkin for 35 years and in Houston for 35 years. She was always known as a hard worker.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Doris and Arthur Stanley; grandsons, Kevin Stanley and Jason Stanley; great-grandchildren, Jennie Stanley, Jessica Stanley and Jared Stanley; and great-great grandson, Christopher Lane Daugherty.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cuculic was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Cuculic; brothers, Hack Partin and Kurtis Partin; and niece, Merle Louise Swan.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Stanley, Jason Stanley, Ken Swann, Jared Stanley and Nick Covanes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darwin Lewis and T. C. Muckelroy.
The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Saturday at Gipson Funeral Home.
