U.S. Navy Veteran WWII, beloved husband of the late Eleanor (nee Heidenblut), loving father of Jerry (Marie) and Kathy (Daniel) Prokop, dear grandfather of four, great-grandfather of three, fond brother of Robert (the late Donna), Shirley (the late Chuck) Motejzik, the late Lester (Ruth) and the late Art (the late Florence), fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of American Legion - Mt. Greenwood Post #844 and Roy W. Nelson V.F.W. #1128. Visitation Friday, 3 to 9 p.m., at Hann Funeral Home, 8230 S. Harlem Ave., Bridgeview. Lying in state Saturday, March 3rd, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 11500 Old German Church Rd., Burr Ridge, from 9 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Interment Bethania Cemetery.
