Joan and family,
I was fortunate enough to work with Herb at Mote Marine Laboratory for the last few years. He was an interesting and interested man, and will be missed over here by his many friends.
Condolences,

Joan and family, My heart broke this a.m. when I saw Herb's notice in the paper. You may or may not recall, we graduated S.S. June '47 and have kept slightly in touch over the years. I saw him last when he was in Chgo for a family shiva. He was a dear. My heart cries. Hopefully your many happy memories are some help at this difficult time. I can't leave my husband, so can't attend his services, but my heart and thoughts are with you all. Minna Rae (Katz) Friedman
