Hank Maxwell, as my mother (and many of his other friends called him with affection) was one of the most honorable men I have known. I have known him as long as I can remember. He and my mother and aunt were longtime friends, all growing up in Hinsdale. My father too grew up there and had the honor to call him a friend. I remember his quick wit and warm smile. Mr. Maxwell, you will be missed by so many, I know for sure my mother, Martha Thomas and her sister Adele Mayer will miss you very much. I know you are at peace now, something that you dedicated quite a bit of your time and energy to when you were here on this earth.

Next to my Dad, Hank has been the finest example I have encountered of a Man, an Adult, and a Christian. He will be missed, but he will never be forgotten.
