Henry Linden Obituary

Linden, Henry R. 87 years, world-renowned authority in energy research and policy and an icon at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), past president of Institute of Gas Technology and founding president of Gas Research Institute, passed away on September 13, 2009. Beloved husband of 42 years of Natalie, nee Govedarica; dear father of Robert (Nancy Desmond) Linden and Debra Linden Thomas; loving grandfather of Heather Anne Linden; fond brother-in-law of Thomas (the late Sheryl) Govedarica; dear uncle of Julie Govedarica; and respected friend and colleague of many. A private funeral service was held on September 18, 2009. A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 26, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at Illinois Institute of Technology (Hermann Hall Ballroom, 3241 S.
