Mielnicki, Henrietta "Nora" (nee Smagacz), 81, formerly of Brighton Park, called to Eternal Life January 5, 2005. Born to the late Stefan and Anna Smagacz on April 18, 1923. Married to the late Dominic Mielnicki. Beloved mother of Gloria (Douglas) Hadley, Donna Mielnicki, and Marianne (Kevin) Zahnle; dear grandmother of Sarah Hadley; loving sister of Gertrude (Frank) Rendak, Sr. M. Innocent, O.S.F., Sr. M. Victoria Valerie, O.S.F., and Stanley Smagacz. Retired employee of Western Electric. Member of Our Lady of Victory Society and an active Associate member of the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago. She was and avid bowler and enjoyed being a volunteer for 18 years at Little Company of Mary Hospital Gift Shop. She served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Julies, Tinley Park. Known for years as a Chicago Cubs Fan. Lying in state a the Sacred Heart Chapel of Our Lady of Victory Convent, 11400 Theresa Dr. (Walker Rd. at Main St.), Lemont, Monday, January 10, 2005, 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
