Helen Walton Obituary

Walton, Helen B. Age 99, passed away in Pompano Beach, FL, January 28, 2018, in the loving care of a hospice nurse at 2:00 a.m., just a few hours after her son and daughter-in-law left her bedside. She just wanted to dance in the clouds with her husband, Peter L. Walton Jr., who passed away November 7, 2017. They were married for 54 years and knew each other longer than that. She was born in Kansas City, MO, August 18, 1918, though the year is up to debate, but not by her, LOL. She was a devoted wife to her husband and mother to her only child who they adopted as an infant. She was survived by her son, Peter A. Walton and his wife, Salome Walton; grandchildren, John Park, Alejandra Taboada-Williams, Sofia and Sebastian Taboada; great-grandson, Beckett, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at the Mount Carmel Cemetery, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162. The spreading of her ashes is being held with direct family members at a private location.
