Hochfelder, Helen D. (nee Dresner), passed away on March 23 in Sarasota, FL. Beloved wife of the late Ernest J., dear mother of Allen (Stephanie) of Chicago and Sarasota, loving grandmother of Scott (Jennifer) of Pittsfield, MA., devoted great-grandmother of Noah, Alexandra and Ely, fond sister of Ruth Sajowitz, she will also be missed by seven nieces. A private family service will be held in Chicago and a memorial service will be held in Sarasota on April 23. She was life master in bridge, and accomplished pianist and a graduate of the University of Illinois. She was a deeply committed to several charities in Chicago and Sarasota. Memorials may be made to The Smith Care Center at Plymouth Harbor, 700 John Ringling Blvd., Sarasota, FL, 34326.
