Helen Hansen Obituary

Hansen, Helen M. (nee LeRoy), age 92, of Park Forest, passed away February 23, 2005. She is survived by her loving children, Kenneth Wayne Hanssen and Charles Robert Hansen, cherished grandmother of Warren Carl Hanssen, Claudia Faye Zybak, Suzanne Grace Travelstead, Bill (Jackie) Hansen, Debbie (Ted) Downey, Pam (Bill) Beckes, Keith (Rosie) Hansen, Tina Hansen, Melissa (Larry) Hadley and Amy McAnich, proud great-grandmother of Alana Bernas, Zachery Scott Zybak, Brandon Riley Connors, Krystal Lynaia Arnold, Brittney Marie Arnold, Austin Wayne Arnold, Alexa Grace Travelstead, John, Josh, Jason and Mandy Hansen, John Downey, William and Nicole Beckes, Keith, Tina, Rachael, Victoria and Rudy Hansen, Chastity and Brittney Hansen, Gibson Hadley, Melissa, Robert and Laura McAnich. She is also survived by granddaughter-in-law, Laura Hanssen and grandson-in-law, Edwin Travelstead. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wayne Hansen, daughter, Beverly Joyce Hansen, son, William John Hansen and grandson, Bart Hansen. Helen was a Practical Nurse, always caring for the sick and being proud of that. Visitation will be Friday, February 25, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m at Hirsch Funeral Homes West End Chapel, 1340 Otto Blvd, Chicago Heights, IL, 60411. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 26, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Flossmoor. Information 708-755-9014.
