Helen Fullam Obituary
CHARLESTOWN, N.H. -- Helen Louise Fullam, 80, formerly of Old Claremont Road in Charlestown, died Monday, July 4, 2005, at the Haven Health Center in Claremont after a long illness.
She was born in Chester, Vt., on April 26, 1925, the daughter of John M. and Nancy G. (Snide) Wright.
She was a long-time member of the Past Nobel Grand's and the Women's Auxiliary of VFW Post 8497.
She enjoyed her vegetable stand and flower gardens. She loved family cookouts and get-togethers.
Mrs. Fullam had worked as the manager of Allen Brothers farm stand in Westminster, Vt., and also managed the Allen Brothers stand in Claremont for many years.
She later had her own vegetable stand on the Old Claremont Road in Charlestown.
In April 2005, Helen celebrated her 80th birthday party with 85 guests present. There was singing by Ruben Quellet and The Gospel Train.
The surviving family includes one son, Lynn W. Fuller, III and his wife, Peggy of Keene, NH; one daughter, Linda Fullam and her husband Ed Narushof of Charlestown; two grandsons, Jeffrey Fullam, U.S. Army, and his wife, Debbie, stationed in Germany and Shane Frost, U.S, Army, and his wife, Sandy, stationed in Seattle; one granddaughter, Jennifer Kosakowski and her husband, Lennie; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kerrie and Lacie; two sisters, Margaret Bacon and her husband, Romaine and Marjory Allen and her husband Russell; one brother, Floyd Wright; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lynn W. Fullam Jr., in 1996, whom she married 60 years ago, as well as two brothers, Milton Wright and Norman Wright.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Charlestown Memorial Chapel, 34 Main St., in Charlestown with Pastor Russell Allen of the Christian Family Circle Church of Bellows Falls, Vt., officiating.
Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery in Charlestown.
The family suggest that donations may be made in her memory to the Charlestown Ambulance Service, P.O Box 369; Charlestown Visiting Nurses Association, P.O. Box 343 or the Charlestown Memorial VFW Post #8497, all of Charlestown, NH 03603.
A time of fellowship and sharing will be held at the Charlestown Memorial VFW Post on the Lovers Lane Road in Charlestown.
