Helen Dreas Obituary

Dreas, Helen (nee Piernikowski) 94, passed away, finally at peace on Monday, August 21, 2017. She is survived by many who lover her, including her son, Bud; daughter, Gale (Tom); grandsons, Michael (Jess) and Andrew Brennan; sister, Rita; great-granddaughter, Amanda (Sherry); great-grandson, Colin; many fabulous nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen; grandson, Kevin and 8 of her siblings. Helen retired from the Chicago Police Department after 25 years as a crossing guard. Donations to the Lieberman Center for Health and Rehabilitation or the Robineau Residence, 3003 W. Touhy Ave., Chicago, IL 60645 are appreciated. Visitation Thursday, August 24th from 2:00-9:00 p.m. at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., Chicago. Funeral service Friday, August 25th, 10:30 a.m. at Smith-Corcoran.
