Haven Hinson Obituary

i met him late in his life, always had a smile for me, i helped him and Ms Ella for a short period of time....now i live right around the corner from their place...it will always be to us the "Hinson" place!! brenda marshall

uncle and friend, got me started welding pipelines, haven worked hard and enjoyed life, always made us welcome at his home. we shared personal stories that no one else knew. would call him when i failed a welding test. Haven loved GOD , and told me he was ready, had a laugh like no other
i miss him daily, he loved his family. best pipeline welder in the world, love to help everyone who needed help. see you soon unk.

Mr. Haven Hinson was a very dear friend of mind. He sold me my very first boat in the early eighties. I was very glad to have just last year cook him up some catfish and made him some homemade ice cream. He ate a lot and said it was the best he ever had. It was a honor and a privilege to know him. You will be sadly missed my friend. Till we meet again, Randall Duhon.

Uncle haven, I just found out today you passed away.... I am saddened that I wasn't able to be there. But I treasure those weeks I got to take care of you last year. I think of them often. I hold close the stories you shared with me. I've cried so many years since y'all moved away but you got your wish.

He prayed every night and morning. While I was bathing and dressing him, he would remind me that he prayed for him to go first. Because he didn't want I live for even one day without Ella by his side. He got his wish. I know that made him happy.

Mr. Hinson was a dear neighbor & friend to my father, Dyke Plummer who passed last May, before he moved to live with us in Alabama about 11 years ago. I pray that God's comfort will be with you all and help you through this difficult time.
